The Gunslinger II (G2M) pack was developed from the original GS05M Gunslinger.
It has a slightly larger scabbard, to better accommodate weapons with larger cross-sections or bulky optics.
The scabbard is wide at the bottom, giving the option of carrying weapons butt-down or butt-up.
The Gunslinger sniper pack is a 2900 cubic inch pack, with extraordinary features that set it apart from any other mid-size pack.
The Backscabbard™ is wide enough to hold most rifles, including assault rifles and rifles with large scopes (DPMS .308 LRR with Leupold 6.5-20 x 50 LR/T & 15 rd. clip shown at left).
The pack is compact and excellent for rappelling. SWAT Teams will find it useful for carriage of both primary and secondary weapons. Features include full side access to the main compartment, hydration bladder housings, multiple pockets with varied sizes and configurations, fully padded harness and back padding, and external compression straps.
The scabbard on the G2 folds into the bottom of the pack and is secured by a buckle.
This configuration is good for shorter weapons and other gear; it's also a great place to carry a laptop computer.
Also note the side handles; these make it easy to get the loaded pack out of a vehicle, and for mounting the pack with a heavy load.
Heavy duty compression straps always cause the pack to ride quiet and tight; it can be compressed completely flat. In this photo, they are routed through the scabbard compression loops, which allows you to selectively compress the scabbard.
Hydration sleeves on the back wall, semi-transparent tuck pockets, and Padlock (PALS) webbing fit out the interior.
The sniper pack includes the GSTC Butt Cover, with pull-out sleeve. This allows you to fully enclose a rifle up to 60" long.
The top pocket assembly features a handy internal organizer, with several small pockets, pen holders, and a padded pocket which serves equally well for AR mags or for a PDA.
Eberlestock designed the Gunslinger II to be a lightweight, compact scabbard pack.
It has exceptional padding, outclassing other daypacks.
It's a great alternative to a drag bag, and provides unparalleled versatility, agility,
and mobility, with rapid access to your firearm.
For mobile warriors, it's carry-on sized, and the scabbard duals as a great place to stash a laptop or
other quick-access items.
