The Atlas Bipod Super CAL No-Clamp BT72-NC was designed with a wider footprint than other Atlas CAL Bipods in order to provide greater stability. This was as a result of receiving many requests for a "bigger," "heavier," "stouter" bipod with the same features as CAL Bipods. It's comprised of 6061-T6 aluminum that is Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodized and has heat-treated stainless steel components.
The Atlas Bipod Super CAL No-Clamp BT72-NC (Cant And Loc) “No Clamp” model has a two hole pattern of 1.100” with the holes being 10/32 threads. It allows you to install any Arca Swiss Calmp, Picatinny Clamp or M-LOK mount with the same hole pattern such as the AREA 419 ARCALOCK Clamp Atlas Bipod Kit, ARISAKA Atlas Bipod Rail Slider System, Atlas M-LOK Adapter, ADM Picatinny QD Adapter ADM-170-S, BT19, ARMS17S, TRAMP, LT271 and ARCA [not included].
The CAL (Cant And Loc) Atlas Bipods were developed for shooters that do not desire the Panning feature.
With the Atlas Super CAL bipod mounted to your rifle, you will be able to lock and un-lock the canting motion by rotating the lever. Turn clockwise to lock and counter clockwise to un-lock. The lever position can be adjusted for positioning by pulling the lever directly away from the body of the Super CAL and rotating to desired position. This positioning can be repeated until optimal position is achieved.
